In recent years ASHRAE, AIA, USGBC, and many green building rating systems have made great strides in raising public awareness of the local and global environmental impacts buildings have on the environment. In keeping with this philosophy BCER understands that high performance buildings of today should not be dark cold caves as many were 30yrs ago. Technology has changed and today BCER uses many tools to ensure that high performance and green buildings don't just save energy but are bright, comfortable, and vibrant places to work and live. To achieve this BCER uses a myriad of tools to analyze the building architectural, lighting, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. BCER has helped many owners and design teams achieve green building certification through demonstration of energy performance, water conservation, indoor air quality, occupant comfort, and providing commissioning services.
