Children's Behavioral Health Building

The new 150,000 square foot Behavioral Health Building for Children`s Hospital is located on the Fitzsimons Campus in Aurora, Colorado. This new building is a 7-story high-rise comprised of `I` and `B` occupancy spaces. The spaces include: bed rooms, exam rooms, group and individual therapy rooms, and isolation `chill` rooms. The method of project delivery was through a Design/Build approach with BCER Engineering providing design services for the core and shell and tenant build-out of all the spaces. The total construction budget was approximately $30,000,000.
