9th Avenue Historic Assessment

BCER Engineering was commissioned to provide Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing engineering services for the assessment of the existing systems at 9th Avenue and Colorado. This campus was the site of University Hospital prior to their relocation to the Fitzsimons campus in Aurora. The site development plan is to convert the existing historic structures into a mixed-use residential development if possible. BCER provided a summary of findings and recommendations along with an engineers cost opinion. Structures included in the study were the Nurses Dormitory, JFK Child Development Center, Charles Denison MD Memorial Library, Office Annex, School of Medicine, Colorado Psychiatric Hospital, University of Colorado Psychiatric Clinic, and the Children's Day Psychiatric Hospital.
