Longmont United Hospital - Master Plan
BCER Engineering provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing consulting services for the development of Longmont United Hospitals 2003 Master Plan and study. The Master Plan was a coordinated effort with the Architect and Owner to review the impacts of building expansions and possible modifications as they relate to the mechanical and electrical infrastructures and potential system types. As part of the study, BCER assessed the existing HVAC systems and hospital spaces to determine existing ventilation rates, airflows, system capacities and building requirements. Some of the HVAC systems assessed included the Air handling units, central plant heating systems, high pressure boilers and heating systems, and, chillers and chilled water systems.
